Top 10 Google Play Store mobile apps for programmatic advertising in April 2021, North America

Pixalate rated nearly 400,000 apps available in the Google Play Store in metrics including invalid traffic (IVT), brand safety, popularity, viewability, and more. Here are the top 10 performers in North America, from April 2021:

Weather by WeatherBug is the winner of the April 2021 edition of the Pixalate Top 100™ for Google Play Store in North America. Weather Bug is one of the three apps achieving the highest grades in all measured metrics, along with The Weather Channel and MyFitnessPal.

Apps from the top 10 have presented versatility in all metrics, but only three obtained the highest marks in all categories. The remaining seven could still improve in categories such as IVT, brand safety, or viewability.

The Pixalate Top 100™ rankings do not end with the top 10. Moving a little lower in the rankings, advertisers can find valuable ad inventory as well. In the top 100, 46 apps obtain the highest marks in metrics related to quality and safety, including IVT, brand safety, and viewability.
